The Airport was awarded the "Euro Annie award" for the airport that attracted the most new airlines during the 12 month period analysed (August 2010 v August 2009). The national flag carrier and largest airline of Serbia, Jat Airways, uses Belgrade Nikola Tesla as their main hub. It is also one of the hubs for low cost airline Wizz Air, and Aviogenex charter airline.
